Sorry its a bit late,but I just came back from W/S,and there where two lots of farang hari krishna standing ring bells with a collection box saying for temple.

So i asked what temple,but he just stared into space,a farang female creature appeared and I aked her,she said Bangkok,which temple in Bangkok I ask,no answer.I took a few pics of them and left.

Dave,anyone seen these before?or are they scammers

Can you post their pics here?

If they can't even say the name of the alledged temple, they can't possibly be legit...

I'll be out to night shortly,keep an eye open for them again,the pics i took on my mobile were a bit distant.Try for a close up tonight.

They where near the ice cream place.

Come to think of it, I saw a couple of them by that Gelatti (?) place last year. Thought it was kind of odd, being they were obviously farangs, soliciting money for a Krishna temple ? At least they weren't banging away on tambourines and singing !

Figured if I was going to donate money, I'd give it to a local Buddhist temple, not a foreign one.

When travelling in major cities around the world, I go to the Krishna restaurants.

Vegetarian and cheap, really good!

I met a lot of them in India, some were ok, some were a bit freaky, many of them ex junkies, and some I thought were high as a kite on drugs.
