Thailand's First Survey Of Penis Sizes Launched As Part Campaign For Safe Sex

What a bizarre and totally irresistible topic!

I agree the numbers are weird. As others have said, if circumference, 49-56 translates to a 'width' (diameter) of 15.6 to 17.8mm, clearly too small! (At least I suspect so - not that I have any first hand experience of Thai penis size, maybe others on here can advise :))

Could they have got confused between diameter and radius somewhere in their (first form schoolboy) calculations?

ahh yes, one of the two benefits a Thai woman gets from shagging a farang old enough to be her father - weekly pocket money and a bigger penis (well, when the viagra kicks in anyway) - isn't life wonderful :D

:):D:D

V just gives me heartburn, I'm sure I'm being fobbed off with Chinese fakes.

"Safe Sex" with a Condom is just one other "urban myth", cause they can slip off easely anyime and not being felt/detected...

there is only one type of "safe sex" = NONE!

Fully agreed. Safe crossing of streets by looking right and left is just one other "urban myth", cause a motorcycle (or a green bus) can easily sneak up on you from behind or come in so fast you fail to notice. There is only one type of "safe street crossing" = NONE.

Of course, to the more intelligent among us, the advice to take away is that you should NEVER look first before you cross the street, just walk right on.

Good news: idiots will remove themselves from the gene pool eventually. Bad news: sometimes not before they take someone else along.

In the past I often heard from my wife that a lot of Thais invest in rubber plantations.

"The tape records widths of between 49 and 56 millimetres"

I first thought that scale is diameter, but after looking on our caliper I doubt that. Thai men would be monster.

Than I took the size /3.14: 56/3.14=17.8 mm that looks too small.

What mistake did I made???

I have never seen one but as I hear, a width of 17.8 millimeters should be realistic :)

The PC way of calling sex with precautions is safer sex, as it is true there is no way of having sex and eliminating all risks. As far as Thai penis size, they are not especially teenie weenie compared to their body sizes which are on the small side; they are for the most part proportionate.

Ten years ago, a Filipino friend told me that many Asians have a penis that isn't much larger than a pencil, hence the slang term. I didn't believe her, and actually considered it to be rude on her part. After 15 trips to Thailand in 5 years, the Thai women have convinced me that it's true.

I don't consider myself to be "hung" either, but 2 weeks ago 3 beautiful Thai go-go dancers escorted me to my hotel because "they" thought I was big. In terms of my overall looks, they weren't even interested, plus I'm old. Once one of them put her hand on my crotch, they started laughing and gathering around me. And yes, I speak Thai, so they weren't making fun of me.

On the other hand, a Thai girl that I was actually engaged to 3 years ago basically ended our relationship by telling me that she preferred "pencil-size". She was serious! I stayed with her for a full week, but she wouldn't have sex with me once she had felt me up.

They can't all be making it up, including the cashiers at 7-11. You buy the biggest size of Durex condoms, and they will at least smile.

Whether it's deserved or not, Americans clearly have a reputation for being bigger than Asians. I'm honestly not trying to be a jerk. If I was, I would be talking numbers.

so it's not just the economy that's shrinking. Maybe they should start promote "an educate the public awareness program".

"don't be a prick, make them stick"

how about Condom Super Glue- stick it on and stick it to 'em Definitely a need to subscribe to the breaking news SMS alert service. :)

S E Asian men tend to have small peni in my experience, usually passive as well.

You obviously read that in The Sun :)

Yes - he must have - my own experiences (obviously very limited - I don't want to be called a slut!) are quite the contrary - even the girlie looking ones are far from passive and are very well endowed, thank you very much!

As regards condom sizes - 7-ll and most garages usually stock a fair selection of sizes, but they are hard to see as they are printed in very small print on the back, near the bottom rh side. If you are still embarassed by buying condoms openly like this then this doesn't help, obviously! I've learnt that you can tell by looking at the colour - the black are the smallest at 49 and the dark blue are the biggest at 53.

Have fun everyone, but be safe!

urban myth as well....

No not urban myth, have a look on Gaydar or Fridae....by far the majority of gay/bi SE Asian men are passive and 90% of those I have encountered have been considerably below average.

I am speaking from experience, are you?

Well its not only the money, when your escorted trough your isaan village that the lottery brought you to, the village jokers will make fun of the woman and choice of penis size. I was suprised at how unashamed those comments where made right in front of their own men too.

On the "slipping of" note, I cant remember ever having that problem, but then again condoms was something from the early 90's. My guess is that the slipping of part is not just about wrong size condom, but also how hard the errection is.

The scale given at 49-52-53-54-56 millimeters, is based on a standard of penis width of Thai men

I have to agree with the other posters, these measurements cannot be right.

I remember some statistics from then UK many years ago.

The average circumference was 4 inches, or 100mm.

Divide that by Pi (3.142) gives a diameter of 31mm.

As to who collects the statistics, I bought some condoms in Australia with a similar measure.

There was little form to fill in to send back to Durex, Australia.

No mention of length............... :)
