There was a topic started 26-10 this year about what we really need on Samui. And I remember Samui Coconut had a reply that there was planed a public hearing in 6 weeks to try to solve some problems. To my surprise there is now working on the Ring Road to put asphalt at the top of the old concrete road. But at the same time they close down the street-lights at the half of the distance between Chaweng and Lamai. This is the most dangerous distance on the Ring Road, and to put dark asphalt without lights on the streets makes it even worse.

By this a beg this hearing and the new mayor to put on the lights before the are more deadly accident on this road. There have already been to many deadly accident lately on this distance.

I just saw on the Samui Channel something that looked like a public hearing. The mayor was there (I believe that was him, I saw him at a couple events last May) and people were going on about something in the mic. Anyone see it?
