Ear Doctor

Featured Replies

Hi there..

I am going to Phuket for my Christmas holiday..

And the reason that i added this topic, is that i would like to go diving when im there. i been diving many times and i like to go to the ear doctor before and get my ears cleaned for ear wax. That makes it easier for me to go deep.

So my question for you guys is, where in Chiang Mai can i find a ear doctor..?

Dr Chalermpong - Chiang Mai Ram does mine every few months.

No problems - he's there 9-12 but call because sometimes he's away.

I had mine done at the clinic on Loi Kroh Road. Doctor saw me right away and it hardly cost anything.

i usually do a swab with those cotton buds after a shower, seems to do the job

I've known folks with excessive ear-wax build-up. Swabs don't work. In Thailand, nurses can irrigate with peroxide.

Doctors will tell you that you should NEVER use a cotton bud within the ear canal . All you are doing is pushing any foreign matter, wax, dry skin etc further down the canal.Outer ear no problem. If you ever get the chance at a hospital watch the screen as the camera goes down the canal .Its one scary place.
