I see that you have not used the report button to ask to have this post moved to news. I also see you didn't post the headline as the topic title. Do you not wish to have this moved to News Clipping then?

well the trick is that PAD didn't CLOSE the airport - the shutdown of operations was ordered by the AOT because of the de facto occupation through the PAD, they didn't shut anything down, as of what I know....and there was no law that could have been used... against the de facto occupiers..

So we will have to wait over 9 months before the 'first' hearing.Heaven knows what will happen between now and then. As to no laws being broken, surely refusing to obey the lawful instructions of police officers i.e. to 'disperse' can be considered for a start.

Then they should have been arrested on the spot - all of them.

If anyone is to be sued - should be those in charge of upholding the law. :)

Strikes, occupation of public places, rallies, road blocks are forms of political, democratic, although sometime disturbing, struggle.

So, IMHO, say

Then they should have been arrested on the spot - all of them.

recall to me more Pinochet's Chile than actual Thailand.

Well up to you....That is not that important news as there are many similar cases against PAD at court currently and in less than 2 hours it will degenerate in the usual

PAD=hero against PAD is the evil

Thaksin superstar against Thaksin is the devil

topic like always...... with the same user as always....

:) h90, you've just summaried 90% of all posts in News. :D

G just published it in news, he didn't see this thread. The problem being that if you don't publish the headline of the article as the title for the thread and then use the report button, it isn't always noticed by mods. I was unsure what you wanted to do since you are generally cognizant of how to get news in the news forum. Now I know. :D
