Community Shock Discovery at Chanthaburi Pier: Decomposed Body Found Entangled in Fishing Boat Prop
Pictures courtesy of Khoasod. Local residents were left stunned on the morning of 14 May, after a gruesome discovery at the Nong Bua pier in Chanthaburi province. A man’s decomposed body was found floating face-up in the canal, entangled in the propeller of a moored fishing boat. Police Lieutenant Chakkrakit Saengchan, an investigator from Mueang Chanthaburi Police Station, accompanied by forensic officers from Phra Pok Klao Hospital and volunteers from the Sawang Katanyu Chanthaburi rescue unit, responded to the call at approximately 06:30. The body was found floating near the pier behind the Nong Bua Food Market, with the right arm still hooked around the rudder of the fishing boat. Rescue personnel secured the body with rope and brought it ashore via the pier’s access steps. Preliminary examination revealed that the deceased was a man dressed in a long-sleeved blue shirt and cream-coloured trousers. No identification documents were found on the body. Notably, the man bore a tattoo on his left ankle and another with sacred script across the middle of his back. There were no visible signs of injury or foul play, and forensic experts estimate that he had been dead for approximately three days. A local resident who discovered the body said she was taking a routine early morning walk by the pier when she noticed what appeared to be a large clump of water weeds or floating rubbish entangled in the boat’s rudder. Upon closer inspection, she realised it was a human corpse, prompting her to alert a former municipal councillor, who then contacted police. Investigators noted that the man’s appearance and clothing did not suggest he was a fisherman or a local resident. The cause of death remains under investigation. The body has been transported to Phra Pok Klao Hospital for an autopsy, and efforts are underway to identify the deceased and contact any relatives to aid in the investigation. I go, “The best people, yeah? Alright then, let’s take a little trip through Trump’s personal clown car, shall we?” First up, Bobby Kennedy Jr. Now the Health Secretary, right? And what’s his big opening act? Gets up in front of Congress and says, “People shouldn’t take medical advice from me.” Lovely stuff. That’s like walkin’ into a chippy and the bloke behind the counter whispers, “I wouldn’t eat this if I were you.” And this is while there’s a measles outbreak stormin’ through the schools like a pissed-off ghost. Then you’ve got Pete Hegseth, Trump’s pick for Defense Secretary, more like Secretary of Risk to National Security. Lad manages to leak classified intel by roping a journo into a secret group chat like it’s some school reunion on WhatsApp. You couldn’t make it up. National security? More like national liability. Even the pigeons outside the Pentagon are more discreet. Next on the parade float: Pam Bondi, Trump’s AG. Ethics? Never met her. Back in the day, she gets a cheeky $25k from Trump’s so-called charity, right when she’s thinkin’ about takin’ him to court over Trump Uni. Surprise surprise, the case magically vanishes. Fast forward to now, and she’s rubber-stampin’ a $400 million luxury jet from the Qatari royal family as a “gift” for Donnie, like she’s workin’ customer service for Air Corruption. And then we’ve got Kash Patel, who’s been granted immunity just so he’ll spill his guts about Trump hoarding classified docs like a Cold War hoarder. And what’s the big man’s response? Considers givin’ him the top job at the bloody FBI. That’s not drainin’ the swamp, that’s bringin’ it indoors and lettin’ it redecorate. Now brace yourself for Kristi Noem, who thinks “Homeland Security” means posin’ with a shotgun and writin’ bedtime stories about shootin’ her own dog. Tosses in a make-believe meetin’ with Kim Jong-un in her book for good measure. And now she’s been banned from tribal land in her own state. Banned. Like she’s an off-brand perfume at Duty Free. Leadership? More like Livin’ La Vida Looney. So I turns back to Mr. MAGA and go, “If that’s your idea of the best, I dread to think what your worst looks like. Probably someone who wipes their arse with the Constitution and then asks for seconds.” Bloke didn’t say a word after that. Just stared down into his cuppa like he was tryin’ to read the future in the PG Tips. Trump’s “best people”? Mate, it’s like someone’s emptied a skip outside Broadmoor and called it a cabinet. Misfits, grifters, and liars all queuin’ up for their go on the gold-plated bog's griftin' carousel. -

In a harrowing incident that has shaken the community of Phayakkhaphum Phisai district in Maha Sarakham province, a 41-year-old man has been arrested for the brutal murder of his 84-year-old father. The body, found in a septic tank behind the family home, had been concealed for three days. The discovery was made on the afternoon of 13 May after Mr Thongsai, the elder son of the deceased, noticed a swarm of flies near the septic tank while preparing to take a tractor out to the fields. Upon closer inspection, he made the gruesome discovery of his father’s body and immediately alerted the police. According to Pol. Col. Chatchai Maiwanta, superintendent of Phayakkhaphum Phisai Police Station, officers arrived promptly and detained the suspect, Mr Sombat, who was found inside the house in an intoxicated and incoherent state. A long-barrel shotgun and a curved blade believed to be the murder weapon were recovered from the scene. Preliminary questioning revealed that Mr Sombat admitted to killing his father, Mr Boonram, following a heated argument. The dispute is believed to have stemmed from a confrontation over Mr Sombat’s refusal to assist with ploughing the fields. Enraged, he allegedly attacked his father with the curved blade, severing his right hand, a wound thought to have been inflicted as the elderly man tried to defend himself, before repeatedly striking him, causing fatal injuries to the face and body. After the murder, Mr Sombat is believed to have waited until nightfall before dragging the body to the rear of the property and disposing of it in the septic tank. Police have charged him with murder of a parent and concealment of a corpse. Relatives have since revealed that Mr Sombat had a long history of drug use and mental illness, and had previously undergone psychiatric treatment. He was known to have violent outbursts when off his medication and frequently quarrelled with both parents. Despite the family’s fears, no one expected the situation to escalate to such horrific violence. Mr Thongsai, the victim’s elder son, recounted that the father had asked Mr Sombat to help with ploughing but was refused. When Mr Sombat also withheld the tractor keys, Mr Thongsai had duplicate keys made and hired outside help to complete the job. Days later, after their father went missing and suspicions grew, the family launched a search, only to finally discover the body in the septic tank. Bloodstains marked the bedroom where the attack took place and the septic tank, just metres away from the living quarters, now serves as a haunting reminder of the incident. Despite claiming confusion over the incident, Mr Sombat did admit to reporters, “It’s happened a few times. He tried to hurt me… I don’t know what to say. After I slashed him, I put him in the septic tank. I’ve never used drugs. I didn’t think it would end like this. I do feel guilty.” Authorities continue to investigate the case, and the community has called for the justice system to pursue the matter to its fullest extent.
