I am an australian instrument technician looking for work in asia. thailand, malaysia, vietnam... I have experience in oil, gas, power generation, and mining.

can anybody point me in the right direction, or tell me where the expat workers in these areas hang out.

I was told to go to vung tao as there was work available there..is this correct or would I be wasting my time?
