Need Insurance Quickly

Featured Replies

Hi guys, just got a new truck & wanna go out driving. Had a quote from Thaivisa that seems reasonable but want insurance quickly! Anyone recomend a good ins company/broker in BKK or online that covers you instantly?

You say new truck. my experience you get free first year coverage when you buy new. If its used insurance goes with the vehicle when sold. Insurance companies normally want to see the vehicle before insuring. Try Bank of Bangkok I have used them and are good. Just watch those speeding tickets. :)

Did you manage the insurance on a Saturday - tell us where as most are shut over the weekend.

In the end I got insurance through Thai visa insurance and they made it all easy. Spoke to a lady named Da in their office, faxed the relevent documents to her, emailed some pics of the car & that was it insured. She prepared the policies in their office & emailed me the policy while the real copy is sent in the post.

Wicked been out driving all weekend. Thats the one thing I missed living out here was driving. :)
