Type O Non Immigrant 3 Month Visa,

Featured Replies

My single entry type o non immigrant visa expires on the 25th jan 2010,

i want to go see a friend in malaysia for 3 days 24 to 27th dec 2009,

when i re enter thailand, by car at Pedang Besar, will they stamp me in for another 15 days?

or 30 days?

and will I still be able to keep the type o visa that expires on 25th jan 2010 or is it canelled if I leave?

Any advise much appreciated.

Thanks

You can apply for a Re Entry Permit from Immigration . 1,000 Baht. This will keep your permision to stay date alive.

If you do not get this you will get 15 days when you re enter.

Unless you obtain a re-entry permit from immigration (1,000 baht single entry) to preserve your permission to stay date, your permission to stay will die as soon as you exit the country. Without a re-entry permit returning to Thailand by land crossing will give you a 15 day visa exempt entry.
