Koh Samui Property Company On Tv ?

I have been this these adverts for as long as i can rememeber, A proerty compang thats had adverts in most local magazines. it calms ' as seen on TV ' Now it used to have the CNN and BCC logos by the claim but has taken them off. I haven never seen the property company on any tv show. So is it OK for the company to lie about this stuff.

It seems to be a habit for them as about 1 or so ago i seen for a couple of weeks were they were claiming ' Breaking News ' thats foreigners can now own land in thailand - and they knew how. .... But again this was change to ' Foreigners can now possess property in thailand ' This makes no sense to a native english speaker becuase anyone from anywhere can ' possess property anywhere. Renting can be called ' possessing ' property but it has no legal rights to owning a property.

In some of there ads it is still claiming in small print that the land has ' legal ownship rights '. I think something should have to be done about this like this becuase it is not OK to mislead people .

Has anyone had any dealing with this company ? and if so how were they ? Was everything OK ?

In KPG one restaurant says "appointed by Lonely Planet as the best xxxx in Asia". No need to say that LP never write a word on it...

Mor funny, but fake as well, another KPG restaurant firm says "Joe Cunningham of Lovely Planet considers xxxx as the best xxx restaurant in SE Asia".

You mean Baan Panburi, unfortunately this is true, I read it myself, I believe it was the 1998 issue of LP.

There is also a bar (not sure where I saw it on KPG), called Pussy Palace, recommended by Horny Planet

Absolutely correct. A topic that will only lead to one conclusion nothing. If there is a question about legality of land ownership, please refer these questions to the relevant forum sections.
