Featured Replies

I've seen on TV and a magazine that there's a place in Pattaya or nearby that kids can participate in an swimming event together with dolphins.

Can anybody tell me if it's true or not?WHere's located?DOes it worth it

Thanks

Its called The Sanctuary of Truth and its in Naklua, (can't remember the soi no)

Its not very cheap but its ok, (and you get in with the dolphins.

Thanks

I read that you need to take a speedboat in www.britishexpat.com is it true?

Sanctuary of Truth is on Soi 12 Naklua. Nice spot to visit bit I thought the dolphin living conditions were pitiful along with their condition. Might be a real treat for someone that's never been to see them up close before. My GF liked it, but didn't have the nerve to get in the water with them. It is more like wading with them rather than swimming though.

Oh yeah, I also seem to have a vague memory of an ad for another "swimming with dolphins" somewhere but don't recall any details.

If you want to visit an aquarium and not pay the earth, then

go to the one at Bang Saen.

Sorry no dolphins, but only 30 baht a head for a good display.

leave the fukcing dolphins alone !

what have those creatures ever done to deserve being trapped in a living zoo for the amusement of ignorant people who think they are doing them a big favour by swimming with them.

go swim with crocodiles.

Maybe OASIS in Laem Singh, Chanthaburi Smokin' Joe?

Its not too cheap there either and a little grim.

We would have really liked Oasis Sea park, if it hadn't been for the dozens of spectators that want to watch you perform tricks for the dolphins.

Their website was hi-jacked a couple of months ago, and it seems to be gone now. You're welcome to visit the info we've put up for them on http://swimwithdolphins.information.in.th. Nothing much, just some pic.'s and some good ol' farang prices..
