I am hoping to get a multiple entry non-imm B visa from the Thai consulate in Hull, here in the UK.

Could you possibly tell me ways of doing this? I do have a friend who has a company in Thailand, what paperwork would i need from him to enable this?

Are there any other ways?

Advice would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

That is alternative option for you, and can also use Non-O visa to obtain work permit. There is currently no additional paperwork required by Hull consulate; just submit passport, application form, passport sized photo and admin fee. Suggest enclosing pre-paid special delivery envelope for the return of your passport/visa which will cost you about £4 against £8 that Hull will otherwise charge.

I believe that Hull are now asking for a Thai friends photocopy of the ID card before issuing Multi on basis of visiting friends?

That is the first we have heard of this.

It would not surprise me though as Perth has gone down that path recently.
