American Seeking Someone Qualified To Do Adoption Home Study

We are American expats living in Laos. We are on our way to adopting a child under Lao laws, but will also need to follow the American laws so we can bring this child with us back to the United States.

Part of the US adoption is an approved HOME STUDY. We have found 1 counselor that is licensed to prepare a US home study, living in Chiang Mai. Unfortunately he is swamped!

Is there ANYONE else out there that can put us in touch with someone in Thailand that is qualified to do a home study for Americans as part of the US adoption process?

I can't express the appreciation we'd feel....just to have an option!!!! PLEASE HELP!

Maybe check with the embassy or some US based adoption agencies.
