Why are many people so partisan?
The problem is that Musk receives billions of dollars a year in government contracts. Also, he will have the power to influence major decisions that could affect the success or prosperity of his own businesses such as Space X and its subsidiary, Star link as well as Tesla. I do not question Musk's ability as a knowledgeable advisor; however, are we supposed to assume he is a nice guy and will of course do the right thing for the country? OR could it be that his own interests come before those of the country and the public good? This is a dilemma - when the billionaire class is put in such influential, non-elected positions. -

Appeal Launched for British Teacher Gravely Injured in Thailand Crash
I am sorry for the guy his ordeal, but when you drive anything on 2 wheels in Thailand you take a big risk to be involved in an accident. On a side note, at the school of my daughter, ALL students and teachers were covered by a health insurance of the school (employer). Why did the school didn't provide the same to him? An Personal Accident Insurance is very affordable and would have him covered for minimum 1 million baht in this case. My last payment to my PA Insurance (70 years old) was 6,500 Baht for 1 year. Not having a basic PA insurance and relay on donations is not the best way to handle such accidents. -

Transferring to new passport -- bankbook funds need be over 400K?
Some offices use this form. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=3202 Number 22. Folk need to be aware that their immigration office may require bank book and photocopies of pages back to last extension if using extensions retirement using money in bank method. Previously not listed on the form (attached screenshot). New requirement at CW. -

Maybe it was just a rhetorical question. I know enough about psychology that some situations are difficult to handle. And I am sure there are some women out there who think about that one moment for the rest of their life, and it makes their life difficult. But for how many women is that the case? It seems there are a lot more women who suddenly remember something because a guy who they knew many years ago is now famous and rich. And then they seem to suddenly remember lots of details which they had forgotten already for years... Our memory is often not as good as we think it is. We "remember" things from many years ago which happened very differently. And we forget other parts which actually happened. For me the summary is: There might be 1% of real situations of above. And 99% is fantasy and greed and all that.
