Are there any cheap bars/clubs that are welcome to young foreigners and play decent western music? I would love to find one that isn't on Koh San and isn't incredibly swanky. As much as I like going out and dancing around backpackers that haven't showered in weeks :), it would be nice to find a cheap place for young expats near a BTS or MRT stop. RCA is ok, but I'm wondering if there are any hidden gems out there!

Many thanks!

Why you assume that backpackers don't wash themselfs, speaking out of experience.

By a Leo beer at 7/11 and go sit on convent road and each time someone enter or leave Molly's you can hear western music as well.

i think Narz suk soi 23 plays good music. It's quite empty on the weekday night, but not on the weekend.

Wednesday is ladies' night; we got 5 free drinks. And they close at 4am [free entry] so I usually get drunk around my pad before going there. :)

The OP sounds like your kind of Guy Thithi de Thaithai, cheap, young and likes to shower. :):D
