I've visited a few times, spent the night there once many years ago. It has become somewhat popular with westerners who want to stay a few nights. I've heard the abbot is a good man (different from when I was there, when it was under the influence of Aj Yantra), but other than that can't tell you much.

Thanks Sabaijai, will be staying there for a while from the middle of the month. Hope to stay for at least a month.

Hi Moe,

Looking to stay there a while myself - a couple weeks or longer depending how it suits. I have several years of intensive study behind me, and I'm not looking for more teaching right now but to practice and consolidate what I have learned so far. Would this place be good for a solo retreat - can I just practice with minimal supervision in my kuti / walking somewhere quiet? are the group sessions compulsory?
