Just read about this. At first I was excited, we'd still have to deal (just like in Bangkok) with some drivers refusing to turn them on, but hey its a start.

But really, starting the meter at 120 or 250 baht? Vs 35 baht in Bagkok? How do you justify that? In Bangkok I get a nice car with air condition. With a tuktuk I get a small death trap with no air condition and limited protection from the elements, yet my fare should start at 8x the amount?
