February 20th sees the second Thai Red Cross Samui Charity motorcycle ride and concert.

The ride starts at 2 PM at The Pavillon, Chaweng Lake. All type of bikes welcome. The ride then drives to Lamai (with Police escort) for refreshments. Then on to Nathon Seatran ferry car park. Fun and games in the afteroon (tug O war between various Bike Clubs etc). Then in the evening, a free music concert wth the Bob Colour Band and Siam, fire eaters and much more. All proceeds go the the Thai Red Cross to help poor Thai families put their kids through Secondary school. Charity T shirts available next week at Ohm's Motorcycle shop and Honey Bar in Chaweng and at Chaweng Lake at start of the ride. All welcome.

As last year, we are given the stage and facilities at Nathon to put on a show and a ride. Ohm (motorcycles) and myself have organised the ride (local police and sheriff permissions etc) and the entertainment in the evening.

I would like to buy a T-Shirt but there is no way i would set foot in the haney bar,can they be made more widely available to help the charity.

T shirts now available!!!!!! You don't need to set foot in the "haney" bar as it doesn't exist T shirts can be bought at the Honey bar and Ohm's motorcycle shop!!!!

OK, people. The big event is this Saturday. Get your Charity T shirts soon. All proceeds go the the Thai Red Cross to help poor families put their kids through secondary school here on Samui! Buying the T shirt also registers you for the charity ride round the island on Saturday before a big event at Nathon in the evening with live music from the Bob Colour band and Siam.

A little more notice next time might get you more out of town riders, sounds like a good event.

Maybe next year, riders watch the motorcycle forum closely for events.

A great time. We raised over 165,000 Baht (More than last year!), had a great ride, a great party. And a great hangover!!! Photos and more details to follow!!! Thanks to everyone who helped and participated.
