Great images, The Vulcan........

Here's one of my first HDR images. Shot yesterday.

Nikon D90, 105mm, ISO 200, F5.6, EV 0/+2/-2

IMG_1080_r.jpg

Needs more dodging and burning on the center chillies and leaves to give more depth.

Wat Chan Wa Na Ram in Phon

Way too blurry and the palms to the right detract from the composition. Could also do with punching up some of the colours on the wat. Also sky boring. Add a little gradient.

Sunset in Norway, Buddha in Koh Samui

Sky too gaudy with very dull sand coloured Buddha image. Try toning down the sky and punching up the statue.

Today in my back yard. Wasn't terribly shy posing for me. :)

Lizard3a.jpg

Leaves take up way too much of the composition. Overall image needs more vibrancy.

Nice bike, awful composition.

This one was taken 2 days ago on Orchard Road in Singapore. My guess is she is Thai.

But what is she doing/waiting next to a suitcase and a bicycle?

It's not actually her bike?

Welcome back The Vulcan

I actually never saw anybody on a bike in Singapore, especially such kind of bike.

I would guess they (the boyfriend?) bought it in Singapore and will export it, with the suitcase and the girl :D

And here is part 2 of the visit to a woman shoes shop yesterday morning. And for the people who wonder, no she's not Thai, she's Chinese, buying shoes in Thailand. Not sure if from mainland China, Singapore or Taiwan. My guess is mainland China, she was speaking mandarin only. Aren't shoes cheaper in China?

By the way, in this picture,I like the Louis Vuitton bag :D

Nice pictures indeed.

This thread is about pictures you like, on a daily basis. Taken in Thailand preferably.

And mean something to you.

And it sure does not need to be a heavily photoshopped picture.

And any critic, however strong you think about it, should be constructive, no negative...
