Idea For A Game

Featured Replies

I didn't play for a longer time...

Can anyone recommend a shooter game?

What I liked before:

Doom1+2

Max Payne 2

Fear

Halo

some more which I can't recall....

nothing multi user, something old fashion style without some teams....

Any recommenations?

i love galaga...dam_n that u reminded me, i will probably be stuck playing that game for a few months now :)

Call Duty M2, Team Fortress 2 are both great choices. Also next month Battlefield Bad Company 2 is coming to the PC (and other platforms) which is also a shooter, but also features drivable vehicles (tanks, helicopters) which I really enjoy. I have played the demo on xbox live and it's a blast!

However, these are all multiplayer.

If you prefer to play offline on a story type game, I recommend Bioshock if you haven't already played it, especially as Bioshock 2 is about to come out too.

LEFT 4 DEAD 2. Usually prefer WWII themed games, but got hooked on blasting zombies.

The COMPANY OF HEROES series is great if you want RTS

I found a deck of cards yesterday, that's not what you were thinking of was it?

Thanks everyone :)

Im with jp123, left4dead rocks, both 1 & 2.

Bioshock is my personal favorite one. Also Far Cry and Far Cry 2 have some nice graphix in it.

Mass Effect 2, its just gorgeous. Does a great job of telling a story and creating an atmosphere, a refreshing change from simple kill-them-all shooters. The outcomes of the game can change quite a bit depending on decisions you make.

Plenty of kill-them-all bits too.
