How Does A Buddhist Relate To Christian Miracles?

I've been reading Jackie Pullinger... "Chasing the dragon" in which she helped many drug addicts to come clean without symptoms by prayer and receiving the Holy Spirit.... converting to Christians and speaking in tongues....

It all sounds very admirable.... I was wondering how a confirmed buddhist would relate to these happenings?

I personally have no doubts about my Theravada Buddhism and would class my own belief as unshakeable.... but it is still intriguing...

Miracles can happen, but there is to much fuss surrounding miracles.

Yes, prayer can help, calling upon the evil influence directly to leave can help.

after all, GOD's name is "The I AM" or conscience or in other words "your inner man" and that is what gets activated through prayers. Jesus has shown the way in that sense to eradicate blood payment once and forever. He's connected the dots for us so we could use it in his name to get it to work.

Buddhism is a different setting and of worldly wisdom for which we are called to cloth ourself with and whether we're Christians or any other. I don't even see a contradiction, apart of distorted teachings of the "Lord Buddha. But that has taken place in all the other religions too.

As Buddhists we are well aware that the mind is quite capable when pointed in the right direction.

So, if somebody recovers from an illness because they have faith they will recover, or if somebody cleans up their life because they have faith they can clean up their life, these are hardly a miracles but evidence of the untapped potential of the mind.

If anything they should prompt one to study the mind, rather than to a life of faith.

Now if there is evidence of people walking on water or parting the red sea these might be considered miracles.
