Has anybody had any experience of this hospital , i had a fully replaced hip in UK in 1999 , my Doctor recomends i go to this hospital to have it checked out and may be cleaned up as they dont normally have a life expectancy of 8 to 9 years , he recomends this hospital as it is where all the surgeons get there training for othopaedics and the doctors who train them are the most experienced in this type of surgery

Any experience of this would be gratefully received

I heard from a Thai friend that it's the best place in Thailand for anything regarding Orthopedics. Cannot Verify though.

It is a tertiary level government hospital which is indeed best known for orthopedics and it conducts quite a bot of research on orthopedic techniques, some of which has been published in international peer reviewed journals. So I would not worry about the hospital.

With any surgery, however, the key thing is the specific surgeon who will perform it. Research the proposed surgeon's qualifications.
