Someone Missing A Passport

Featured Replies

Just found a passport from Brian B. - British - born 1941, on the main road in Kamala. Long time resident based on his passport. Anyone? PM me or I bring it to the Kamala police station later today.

Probably better to hand it over to Thai immigration. They will have his address on their computers.

Please dont give it to BIB. It will be lost in a few days. Worst case is to spend 50 baht and send it as EMS to British Embassy

Phuket British Consul, Martin Carpenter, 115-116 Plazi del Mar, Moo 1, Pasak Koktanod, Cherng Talay, near Lagoon, Bang Tao.

Or mention it to one of the local news sources. Scan his photo? Maybe someone will recognize the guy.

I'm assuming there is no 90-day notice receipt with an address on it inside? They have been doing that with mine lately.

British Embassy for sure, chances are extremely good that it will have been reported lost to them. DO NOT HAND IT OVER TO THE BiB.

I understand it was not a good idea to bring it to the local police :) I did some checking in the area where I found the passport and one of the local Thais recognized the owner. Passport returned to the owner.

Good on you for doing the right thing.
