Over the last two weeks my internet access using TOT is constantly being interrupted, usually

one to three hours per day. Anyone else having similar problems in the Big Buddah/Tong Son Bay area?

Or know the reason?

actually you could claim money back if it's more then 4 hours outage (depends on supplier and contract)

Same in Bophut, although started 3 weeks ago, but seems back to normal over last few days.

Same here also (Lamai) for the last couple of weeks

sounds like everywhere in samui. So far mine has been ok in bohput. probably jinked myself now

i am so happy the TTNT office has changed. can't beleive how bad the service used to be in Tescos. Used to get really bad attitude of sertain people in that office. now they have changed all the staff and i was shocked when the new staff. spoke to me with respect and gave me curtasy calls. The new staff are located at the back of tescos chaweng near homepro. they also have an office in lamui Tescos. Starting the think this new office has opened due to people constanty complaining.

The old staff are still there but they only take phone bills. The 2 offices are seperate.

Talking to the TOT engineer the other day it seems the are upgrading the equipment in the exchange hence the outage. They are trying to roll out the 10 Gb ADSL throughout the island.

my tot home account has been out since before 6am today and still out. first time in a long time and generally happy with their service. just upgraded to 6mbps from 4 last week.

My TOT connection has been out since Early Saturday. I have really had it with them and have just installed a Novatel "Dongle" on a trial basis.

So far, it works perfectly.

Don't worry. If you get a dongle, your local pharmacy will give you cream for it. Should clear up in a few days

How is working 3G on lamai?
