Probably get cheap one in China town

or in baan tawai or baan bo sang for more luxurious ones.

Best i have seen are in Pai.. but bloody expensive. Wonderful though.

How on earth did you manage to get from BKK to CM ?You would have to be walking around CM with your eyes tightly shut to not see a hundred places to buy a hammock. What next Where to get Thai food ? :)

There's a guy selling hammocks at the side of the canal road. He sets up on the left as you go south out of the city, just before you get to the Best Western which is on the other side of course.

We got one of these hammocks around two years ago from a fair, and It's awesome, the guys told as at the time it would last for years, off course I thought it would last five minutes outside, but it's still hanging in our garden, through sun and rain it's still perfect. The kids play on it everday! I may by another one!

those real good ones are available in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai also.

Search for Thai Tribal Crafts Fair Trade shop and you will find.
