Kho Toa

Featured Replies

Am taking a week off from Bangkok next month and decided my GF want to re visit Kho Toa been a number of years since we last visited.

My questions are can anyone reccomend nice clean bungalows close to the beach ? We stayed at Sairee beach last time but cant remember the name but was cheap clean and ideal for us

Also my GF loves snorkling ( she tried diving ) and wanted to know where the best places to go are ? that dont require going on a boat trip every day - we are planning to stay Mon-Fri

any good suggestions much appreciated, budget no real, but cheaper rather than expensive - last time we stayed 3 years ago we paid 600 baht a night for a fan room on/ near the beach

regards

Dave

I can understand you has been there a number of years before so you forgot the real name of the island.... Koh Tao

Plenty of accomodations in Sairee but remember that the 1st of March there will be the Full Moon Party in the neighbor Koh Phangan and will be not so easy to find an accomodation in Koh Tao too.

Second that your best of booking ahead.

Be prepared that beach front is now a lot more pricey compared to a few years ago< forget 600 bht now more like 1000-1500 at least .

Toa is short for toilet in Swedish.

Koh Toa. :)

PS

In the Samui forum we make fun of spelling errors.
