I am an experienced show/concert promoter here in the states looking to ideally obtain a job in Bangkok. Just curious if anyone had any advice or places to start (venues or promoters) looking for such employment. Over the last 14 years I have booked close to 2,000 shows for national and international bands in a wide array of venues. Obviously BKK would be less busy - but just hoping there is a smaller company or two that does bring in UK/US/European/Asian bands in to town. Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Start with BEC Tero. They are the largest promoter in Thailand, but dont get your hopes up. A friend of mine used to work with them and he said that management were very tough. He speaks Thai fluently, so unless you can speak Thai you would probably not be considered but anyway there is no harm in trying.
