The Heat...

Here is my issue. I am currently working in the Ukraine, where a warm day is just below freezing. I've gotten used to really cold weather. But Now I am going to take a job in Thailand. Ideally I will adapt quickly. But until that time occurs I will need AC...or so I assume. The kicker is that I will also be in Bangkok for the first week, just hanging out and trying to live on as little as possible.

so please tell me of any and all places to stay in Bangkok that are cheap (400ish baht or less per night), have AC's, are near( within less then 5km) to some interesting and cheap cultural attractions, and maybe that are also guest friendly.

Use the search function and you will find what you looking for.

Otherwise go khao san road and you will find a hotel/guesthouse with aircon and tv for around 400-500 baht,absolutly no problem.no need to book anything in advance.
