The Aisawan Resort & Spa

Featured Replies

Don't know it at all.

Is there a web-site? Location?

If so, I am willing to visit and give a snap judgement, based on a quick view and chat with the staff.

greatly renovated, former Garden Seaview Resort. heavily promoted too, and no bad smell in rooms. should go.

But where is it?

Going there this weekend based on good reviews from some friends. Apparently the spa is very nice.

I'll let you know next week!

But where is it?

445/3 Moo 5, Soi Wongamat, Pattaya-Naklua Rd, Pattaya, Thailand

Must be one of that clutch of hotels trading on the location of the Dusit and so on.

Not interested - solely Asian coach trips

A lot of Asian coach trips, Russians too perhaps. Location on quiet beach, but not on the baht bus routes, so getting out means a baht bus charter, a shuttle, motorcycle taxi, or a 15 min walk. Nice hotel though.

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally got around to adding our feedback after being there last weekend...

It was OK. Our room had obviously been recently painted but the desk, etc. were the old ones (folder on the desk had the old name). The main lobby, hotel grounds, etc. were all well renovated. The grounds are very picturesque and it feels like a 'boutique' hotel when you're checking in in the open air, etc.

On the first morning, we didn't have any hot water in the bathroom :o They fixed it but shouldn't have had to fix it in the first place!

The pool and beach area were very nice and we spent most of our time there. The beach massage was good but I can't comment on the Spa because we didn't get around to using it!

On the first day, the hotel was completely full with Russian and German holiday makers and a few Thai corporate meetings. It was obviously busy but the staff coped well and we didn't feel like they were harassed.

We got a good rate online (US$46 per night excl ABF) and it was OK for that money (e.g. compared to hotels in Bangkok). It was our first time in Pattaya so I don't know how it compares to other hotels there.
