Hotel Guests' Overnight Guests

Featured Replies

I had a call from a pal who will be visiting LoS later in the year. He asked me if I knew of any hotels in Patters with a tolerant drag-back policy. I told him that most of the smaller Thai-owned places are OK and some that I knew of from previous experience included the Flipper Lodge, Flipper House, those in the Sawasdee chain, Carlton, Nova Lodge. Royal Garden Plaza (?)

I'm sure that there are a lot more - does anyone know of any others (with e-mail adresses?). Is there a definitive list? Any info appreciated.

As a matter of interest, when I stayed at the Woodlands Resort once, I was told that I would be charged extra if a married couple (who were visiting me during the day) were to use my room for a few hours! I believe the Woodlands is Swedish owned.

I suppose it would depend on wether u are planning on taking legal age girls or little boys back to yer room, if hotels in pattaya big or small refused night time guests they would soon go out of business, but if yer doing something yer not supposed to security is gonna tell u to <deleted> off, as they should...

If they do mention a guest charge when yer checkin in, dont forget to say that the reason yer in pattaya is to see yer wife noi, and put her name on the check-in card :o

Be a cheap charlie :o:D

All the hotels under 1000 Baht/night will allow extra guests in the room!

Pay over 2000 Baht/night and you'll be guaranteed to pay extra for your guest, or she might not be allowed at all!

very true monty more you pay the more likely you pay extra for a guest, areca lodge on soi dianna in is just over 1000baht a night does anyone no if they charge extra for a guest this place is a very nice hotel with a nice pool,me a real cheap charlie 430 baht a night at the bliss mansion does me and also cheaper if you take for a month.

Stayed in Lek hotel, soi 13 on 2nd Road couple of weeks ago. No joiner's fee, 1200 baht in nice room with big fridge and good TV. They have a web site. Even have big and small condoms in room :o Reception phones you before letting your lady friend depart.

I'm pretty sure he's not interested in underage girls or little boys (or big boys come to that).

Pattaya pages has a very good hotel review section and the reviewers ususally let on whether they were allowed to take guests back. All hotels covered even the expensive ones

google this pattaya-at-night

Thanks Alex100. I thought that site had closed down but I see it's still going. I'll pass it on.

As someone said if they aim round 1000B a night or less then they won't get any hassle.

My regular place, Siam Sawasdee, is rammed with mongers and their women so its safe to assume that none of the Sawasdee places have issues with blokes bringing women back.

Thanks Jack. It looks a good site but most of the hotels reviews are at least 6 months old.

I agree Prof. I've stayed there a couple of times & also had no trouble with dragbacks. Downside with the Siam Sawasdee is the loud music & traffic noise around the pool area. Otherwise, it's good value.

I'd say that even if the reviews are 6 months old, the hotels would be likely to change their policy on guests.

Hey Prof. - did you mean to say "...UNlikely to change their policy...." ?
