Interested In Playing Darts?

Featured Replies

Hi guys !!!

I stay here on Samui for several years now and I miss the possibility of doing a fine dart game. I don't mean a match against a already drunken tourist in a filthy bar with two and a half arrows throwing on a wrecked board, but in a respectable sport way. I took part at the Bangkok Open last year, where I saw there is a lot of dart activities around bkk, pattaya and chiang mai, even league play. But in the southern regions of Thailand there is nothing at all.

Are there some interests to practice seriously, go to tournaments and show them, where this sport's origine come from?

regards, Xidi

played semi-prof darts as well. in europe though. assuming that serious dart will be kinda seasonal (league) championship so i regret that is not possible for me. visiting samui regularly but never ever longer than just a few weeks twice a year. nevertheless, one of my former dart partners actually is in samui (maenam). He will stay there for 2 months something. in case u want him to join your "team" (?) SMS him at +436507180180. This is his austrian mobile no. He will certainly reply via his thai mobile then (haven't got his thai no. yet). And yes, he certainly IS a very good player...as about myself...i shall await my friend's report about what is/was going on in your dart efforts and i may contact you again when back samui....

almost forgot to tell you his name: KARL. just tell him it was Wolfi (SALOON) giving you that particular dart-information....cheers

Thank you for your kind reply, i tried to contact Karl but the number doesn't work. I think if he stay here already, he has replaced his sim-card with a domestic one already. So the only thing i could do, is to head on the bars of maenam in order to meet him coincidentially. My advantage is, that I'm also able to speak german.

Once again, thanks a lot for your reply, and when you come to samui next time, don't forget your arrows to bring with, I've got set up a dart board at my home, bristol board and champion's choice as well, and there is also possibility to practice on "loewen"-electronic darts. You will be most welcome !

Hi Xidi.

Any more news about Darts in Koh Samui?

Love to have some more information about it to put up on our TDA - Thailand Darts Association website.

If you stumble into anything about Darts that is not written or posted about and have time to spare to write about it. You are most welcome to do so.

For those locations who have a dartboard can "should" promote their premises, events and leagues on our website.

We also sell Unicorn Eclipse and Striker dartboard for those who are interested. Darts, flights and other accessories are also available.
