Would love to, but it's a bit to expensive for my budget.

Try Ozono shopping mall at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 39 - I go with my son and dog there and its very cost effective. We have a play, look at the puppies in the pet shop AND walk our dog for about 100 baht plus the cost of the tuk tuk. Only works if you like dogs though as Ozono has one of Bangkok's only dog parks. BTW we're not members of the actual park as its v.expensive but there is a large area with real grass where the kids can run.

I know I've replied to you on another forum - have you tried joining BAMBI yet? 800 baht for a year's membership with discounts offered to playgroups etc... Google BAMBI Bangkok or come along to their Bring & Buy Sale at Bangkok Prep next Saturday (27th March) from 9.30am - I'll be there as I am taking over running their events. I'm heading out of town for a few weeks after the event but you are more than welcome to come have a coffee/playdate at our house where we have heaps of room plus a little outside space once I'm home.
