So Much For New Balance

I'm having foot problems, and I had some recent good results with New Balance walking shoes at Central World. Went back today to pick up another pair or similar. No go. They appear to be now only carrying the gaudy designs. Plain black, for example...no. Wider sizes...much more limited than just a few months ago. Quite disappointing.

I have found that for me Ecco are really good. Can walk all day without getting sore feet and ankles. Some of the other brands just didn't help me very much. Also Ecco have some pretty boring styles.

If bought at Centralworld or Paragon from a New Balance store then yes. Lampini night bizarre or similar, Nooooooo.

Well, I struck out with ECCO and Hush Puppies. ECCO weren't wide enough, Hush Puppies didn't come in my length. The service attitude at Paragon Department Store, in this case, was lacking. In fact, they seemed annoyed that I wouldn't buy a pair of shoes that didn't fit. Don't get me wrong...I often prefer shopping at Paragon...just not for shoes.

Went down to Central. Completely different attitude...they (and when I say they, I mean as a group of sales people working together) were determined they would help me find a pair of comfortable walking shoes. And they did...much to my surprise, Skechers...but comfortable and reasonably good looking (rather than outlandish).

Any one else tried the Dr. Scholl's? THe one's I got are rather boring looking and they come in a wide size.
