Hand Fan Smells Like Poop

Featured Replies

i bought one of those hand fans made out of bamboo and the thing smells like real honest to goodness shit!!! some one said it's from the water they use,but my questions are, 1;is there bacteria on that thing that would transmit to my hands and then the food i eat by hand(probably eh?)2; how can i clean it or just buy another one....i think if i wash it real good w/water i might wash the glue that holds the thing together.....what to do?? thanx

I guess the saying is true in this case...The Sh*t really did hit the fan huh? :)

thaiswimmer, in all seriousness, some woods when they get damp can have an off-putting odor to them. I remember as a kid, the wood they used to make the paddles for paddle ball had a very nasty smell to them when they got damp.
