Ever Seen Thin Red Woms In Your Tap Water?

Featured Replies

We noticed lately that there are a few small, thin dark red worms coming from tap water. Has anyone else ever had experience with these guys? What was / is solution to get rid of them? Note our water is coming from a huge underground tank of collected rain water -not City Water.

most likely Mosquito Larvae,

I had this problem in my old home in Chaweng

you can buy a small filter in HP that connects to your tap but be sure to clean this filter once or twice per day

is it govment water or your own water from a well ? if so put it in a bottle and take it to the gov. office in nathong

It's well-water and we've seen them before and then they disappear for months and then reappear. I'm a bit surprised no one else has come across these things in their water...?

mosquito larvae aren't long, thin or red....

Dunno what they are, I just fish them em out and flush them down the drain.
