I must admit that the overall situation of buying here in Thailand what in America would be prescription drugs is appreciated.

I do have to laugh at the reactions I sometimes get when I buy a whole box of either of my blood pressure medicines. Yesterday I bought a box of 100 of one of my blood pressure pills I have to take twice a day. This was in one of the pharmacies at the Emporium. They were stunned. Every person who was working in the store -- about 7 girls -- all came over to look. At first they couldn't even figure out how to ring up a box. Why do they think it's smart to walk to a drug store twice a week to buy a med you take long term for years?

How expensive was it?

Thais probably don't carry enough money at any one time to buy in quantity as we do.
