Bringing Games Console Into Los

Featured Replies

Hi All

I'm arriving in the LoS next month and am considering bringing my xbox with me and was wondering if there are any restrictions in doing so?

I'm hoping just to pack it in my suitcase would I run into any trouble in doing so?

Thanks in advance.

Jim

I just brought a xbox360 elite bundle with me from OZ, no probs at all, word of warning though bring it in your carry on.

After watching this youtube vid I will never put anything of value in my checked luggage again.

My kids are also wanting a wii, providing we take it as hand luggage ,do you predict no problems ?

Thanks for the tip Spoonman much appreciated :)

I bought my xbox in Thailand and travelled to Middle East with it last Sept, no problem. Would also agree with Spoonman, don't put it in checked luggage. I carried mine in a laptop bag and boarded with that and another bag.

I don't know about right now, but at the time you could carry a laptop and another small bag on the plane. I just considered that mine was a computer, which is pretty much the same as a laptop, and nobody questioned me at all.

Thanks for the advice seenbetta :)

Unfortunatley I'll have a laptop with me as well which is worth way more than my console. Will be travelling from heathrow and as far as I know its still one item of hand luggage so I'll just have to chance it in my checked in luggage.

JimmyChoons,

I brought my Xbox in a small carry on sized suitcase, it comfortably fitted the Xbox plus my laptop and the assorted cables and accessories that both items come with, was borderline with the weight but no hassles.
