Hello,

I have just come to Bangkok representing a bio-identical hormone replacement system that is becoming quite popular in the US, EU, and Australia. We are looking to bring our product, research, and clinical guidelines to Asia next. Generally we do most of our networking through the web, trade shows and conferences, and word of mouth (see Suzanne Somers' Ageless, for example).

It looks like Thai Visa forums have a pretty good cross section of both health professionals, and the type of people who would be interested in our form of BHRT (men and women interested in aging more gracefully, but also suffering from a number of disease states which hormone replacement can address).

I won't link websites or our name here, since I believe that's against forum protocol. What I am interested in finding out, assuming this isn't against the rules, is any good endocrinologists, OB/GYN, Nurse Practitioners, Gerontologists, GP's, etc. that any of you know about who you think would be interested in learning more more about cutting-edge BHRT from the US. We offer training to prescribers and to pharmacies to compound our products. Of course, we have heaps of literature and information for men and women who are interested in obtaining our products as well. There are several books available, and our website and all of that. We're also in the midst of 2 full scale clinical trials in the US, and several retrospective studies to be published with pretty astoundingly good results. There's a lot of misinformation and fear-mongering out there regarding HRT and more importantly BHRT, but there are also a lot of bad protocols, pseudo-scientific reasoning, and just plain bad medicine being practiced with hormones.

So, are any of you on HRT or BHRT? Have you found Thai and other Asian Dr's to be generally aware of this type of therapy? If they aren't, do you think they would be interested in hearing more? I met a clinical director from Bangkok recently at a conference who is interested for his anti-aging clinics, but I thought I'd give the ex-pat community represented here a chance to tell me what they know as well.

Thanks in advance, and apologies if this post somehow violates any forum rules. And just in case anyone was wondering, I'm not just here for the above stated reason, this is a great forum and I've learned a lot of very useful things in the last couple days reading through it!

Thanks!

Just wanted to amend my first post by stressing that some of our most satisfied customers are men on the testosterone/DHEA protocol. So any older (30-35+) men reading this if you're interested in feeling 20 again, feel free to send recommendations for Urologists, GP's, etc. you may know who would interested in male hormone replacement. If you didn't know, you lose your hormones just as soon and just as fast as women, you jut don't have a period every 28 days to draw attention to it!
