Thank You To All Who Keep Us Up To Date On News!

Featured Replies

Hey there.....I greatly appreciate the efforts and contributions of everyone who has and continues to post highly credible / objective news updates related to the protests. Some of the contributors presumably work for ThaiVisa and / or its partners, some are independent / freelance reporters, and some are just "regular people"......and all of them are doing more than is called for in this regard.

If there's anyone in particular you'd like to praise....feel free to add your favorites.

Thank you again, everyone.....for bringing us what truly is....."news we can use".

I'm not sure what the % is of "highly credible" news updates......and I'm probably less cynical about the size of that %......but indeed it's only that group of people who shared "highly credible news updates" that I'm thanking. :-)

Webworldly, where ? only one topic is update with facts

Bangkok Red-Shirt Rally - Live

Do you mean ?

Clashes Continue, Turning Central Bangkok In Virtual Warzone

OR

Yes, (The) Clashes Continue, Turning Central Bangkok (Thaivisa) In Virtual Warzone

Few posters did ask only news, not feral comments by member, none done!

where i am thaivisa is erratic; just the facts will be good, losing so much time going through people opinion & wisdom

What I "mean" is to express my sincere gratitude to anyone who has posted what I feel is highly credible "news I can use". Defining it more precisely than that or arguing the finer points of which specific posts about the protests are "highly credible".....well, that's absolutely not what I "mean" to do.

yes , i am reaching around and patting myself on the back

moving to forum support

cheers

I see the daily "Redshirt Rally - Live" feature is now "Thailand Live Today".

I think this is a very helpful feature and hope it becomes a permanent one.

I really appreciate having a source which is separated from comments.

Thank you.

I agree.

During the crisis, I tried to start an "information only / no opinions please" thread for our area, but it was virtually impossible to keep all the armchair warriors, apologists, philosophers and commentators (of which I am myself on occasion, of course) at bay! There's a time for straight facts and there's a time for waxing eloquent. So many posters just could not distinguish between the two, or just didn't care. :)

Yes, the new feature "Thailand Live Today" is much welcomed!
