Here is a report after having personally been at each of the following places, at some point, since 6:00 am

central kad: quiet, army on guard

robinson: quiet, barricaded, no sign of army troops except one empty personnel carrier

wororot bridge: quiet, no army troops, no police

night market: no police no army and very quiet

chang klan, quiet, no police or army

nimmanhamin, quiet, no army or police

wat pra singh, quiet, no demonstrators or police or army.

AIRPORT, NO ARMY POLICE OR RED SHIRTS.

By the way, i drove around chang mai for 4 hours and did not see one single demonstrator, I guess they realized it is better to not shit where one rests his head!!!!!!

I hope it stays this quiet all year!!!!!

One of my staff was quite adamant that on the way to work she saw a large group of redshirts and soldiers (hopefully watching them) near the iron bridge to the Night Bazaar a short time ago. It is best to be cautious.
