Hi guys,

I am looking to move from bkk to phuket soon.

Now whats the best and cheapest way to move there........... I have large TV, Fridge , 2 wall units........... and a full size motorbike to get there.............. any suggestions appreciated

I have thought about hiring a vigo and chuckiing it all in the back but the thought of the drive back to bkk to return the hire car is putting me off.

There are a few transport companies that daily ply the route between BKK and HKT for the shipment of goods. Unfortunately I can't think of the names offhand.

I have never had to rent a car this direction, but I would presume there are options to rent in Bangkok and return in Phuket, Avis e.g.?

Yes that is possible. I rented a pickup a few years back in Phuket from Budget and I dropped it off in Bangkok. I can't remember exactly how much it was but I believe it was around 8000-9000 Thai Baht for 2 days rental and drop off in another city.
