Electronics Store

Could anyone point me to a place that sells an AC converter and Olympus USB cord (ugh proprietary stuff)?

Anyone else having issues with power surges? I've fried two items in a week with them, it may just be my place.

AC/DC Jungceylon 3rd floor and Big C basement, Olympus USB probably same places.

Fried some cabeltv amps couple of weeks ago, but believed to be thunder/lightning and not powersupply since nothing else is broke

Regarding general power delivery in BKK I have measured BKK power to 239 and down to 198 quite often. You may wish to consider not only a power conditioner but a power stabilization unit. Low power can be even more destructive to electronic equipment than high power over sustained periods. <www.siliconthai.com> offers the VR-100ie in this regard. (export quality product.) I have used two of these units in my studio for over two years without complaint.

I have lost so much electronics over the years its hellishly annoying and really makes you re-evaluate what you buy, I used to have a 10k USD projector but here it pays to stay to the cheap stuff, my speakers have blown a few times and those are costly to repair.

I use multiple surge protection and spike strips.. Plus UPS's etc.. Nothing really helps.
