For poll, I don't notice any cues in the topic list which threads are poll threads. For example, for this one --

Notice the suit case that looks like a bar graph.

SUGGESTION:

The column for the poster (avatar etc) seems much wider now.

Takes up a lot of space on my small 1024*768 pixel screen.

When I got to first unread post in a topic and the scoll up.

I get this big void.

Does not happen when I open the first post.

Took me awhile to figure out that I must scroll down to see the image.

Cold the scroll down be done automatically.

Same result with or without blocker.

No ads in the "void", above it a banner and under Goggle ads.

The size I think comes from the fact that the banner tool bar goes over two lines with my resolution.

OK, I located the problem I had with the void and thumbnails.

Works in iExplorer but not in Firefox.

ISSUE: The font size indicated a post has been edited is way TOO LARGE! Is it really necessary??!!??

SOLUTION:

Lower the point size!

ISSUE:

Quote boxes are not working on threads older than the upgrade (i.e. 99.9%).

SUGGESTION:

Revert back to original style.

I am guessing there is some Java element to this upgrade as it has a remarkable similarity to the catastrophic YouTube 'upgrade' of around 3 months ago. It took YouTube around 2 months and a loss of many viewers to sort their mess out.

SUGGESTION:

Why reinstate the option to quote the OP.

All newbies quotes the OP.

1) Please allow posters to quote the OP. removing the option makes it very difficult to answer one particular point in the post.

2) Also, it IS possible to vote in a poll. but it takes something like 10 minutes to register.

3) Please bring back the "wanke_r" icon. it is very useful on Thai Visa. Also, the 'thumbs up" icon.
