More Non Imm. Multi Entry O

Featured Replies

I am very soon to be setting off, and do already have a 1 year Non Immigrant Multi Entry O Visa. Valid til June 2011. I have two questions that are probably very simple, but are sort of bugging me.

1. I know that I have to get the Visa stamped every 90 days after 1st entry but .............do I have to leave the country for that, or just go to immigration?

and a completely separate question

2. Can I leave and re-enter as many times as I like during the year?

I just really want to know how flexible I can be as to plan to travel about a bit, but will plan around visa stamps if I need to. Cheers!!

You have multiple entries.

You can come and go as you please. Each stay is a maximum of 90 days.

So you have to exit the country at the end of each 90 days.

If you do a border run just before the Visa expires you will get another 90 days giving a total of 15 months.

What happens after 15 months? Is there a limit to the number of non-imm O's you can get?

:)

Thanks that explains it perfectly and its sunk in at last CHEERS. rolleyes.gif

What happens after 15 months is you would need an extension of stay for a valid reason or obtain a new visa. Such a visa is not issued without meeting specific requirements (but they can vary a bit and over time change). So it would depend on the reason for issue if you can obtain and where you can obtain another.

thanks LP. Just wondering as I have a friend visiting, looking for work (as a whole boatload of folks no doubt), no idea if she'll want to stay long term or not.

:)
