We are a family of 5 looking for a beachside bungalow on Chaweng next April.  Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this a good time of year for s+mming & snorkeling?

I put a similar post on the board for a friend a while back and did not get a single response, it is possible that a single family type bungalow on the beach in Chaweng might be hard to come by.

There are stacks of newly built bungalow accommodation north of Chaweng towards Bophut all with for rent hanging on the gate , trouble is not on beach and would really need transport.

In the absence of a better suggestion , I would book take a couple of rooms in Chaweng Gardens Beach Hotel, 1000bht each with cable , air con, fridge and two beds, on the beach and in the centre of town, opposite Green Mangoe Complex have all sorts of rooms so might even have something big enough for the lot of you.

Then relax first day, and if necessary second day scout around along the beach and see what is available.

You are said to get the best prices on 'walk in' bookings so you would benefit from this.
