thenook Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Money! The best of life? “Money is the best of life.” This sentence may be make some people disagree since money cannot buy everything. Furthermore some people remain think that money leads to four essential requisites. In my view, I think money is the best of life. Firstly, from theorem, money is like as a medium of exchange. Everybody spend money for economic activities and if we don’t use it, living in present maybe slow for economic activities. But when you don’t have money, you cannot easily receive something that you require. Secondly, its value is used to determine the value of everything. Very essential and rare goods will be expensive. Moreover, price of products determined from not only capital but also creation. Last but not least, everyone works or casts lots for exchange money. Someone works hard because they want much money enough for expenses and debt. Besides, from US survey findings, most people -approximately 85%- receive it from work. In conclusion, as long as everybody has faith in money for economic activities, money is thing that people desire.
sokal Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) Judging by the the grammar, you must be Thai. :)I agree that money is the most important thing in life, the best ? I dunno. Its weird that so many people piss their money away like it grows on trees just to be stressed out a month later to pay the bills. Gold is the money of kings, silver the money of gentlemen, barter the money of peasants and debt the money of slaves. Edited July 9, 2010 by sokal
BEENTHEREDONETHAT Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I've been rich and I've been poor. Rich is better!
Shotime Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 I've been rich and I've been poor. Rich is better! Mo richer. BTDT glad to see you back. This will be closed shortly, but you've got to give the OP some credit. He's persistent.
PhilHarries Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Money is the root of all evil, that's why the churches have accumulated so much of it. Money is utterly worthless until you convert it into something you can eat, drink or use.
eek Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Money isnt the best of life, but it sure as hel_l makes it more comfortable.
Jingthing Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 (edited) It's like water and air. You need it to live at all (at least the vast majority do). So it's most important when you don't have it. Edited July 12, 2010 by Jingthing
bangkokrick Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Money is something that I use to get my Thai visa extension, so without I am screwed. Cheers, Rick
Shotime Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 You are so right. Money's only good if you spend it. Maybe that's why I'm always broke, but having fun.
krading Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Money is the root of all evil, that's why the churches have accumulated so much of it. Money is utterly worthless until you convert it into something you can eat, drink or use. The love of money is the root of all evil. Everybody needs some sort of exchange medium, be it salt, labour, sexual services or magic beans. If you haven't got something to trade you're poor.
bangkokrick Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 You are so right. Money's only good if you spend it. Maybe that's why I'm always broke, but having fun. Keep up the fun mate. We only get one go at this. Cheers, Rick
IanForbes Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 With such an oddly worded question I find it hard to make a logical answer. The international monitary system certainly makes life easier for most of us. It allows freedom of trade and allows people to travel farther and faster, and with far less effort. Money certainly allows us to have far more variety in our lives. But, we can also say that money causes a lot of grief in the world when certain groups want to have more than their share. And, will use any means, up to and including murder, to get it.
