Angkor Wat By Motorcycle

Featured Replies

I am thinking about taking a motorcycle trip to Angkor Wat between school semesters. I live in Ubon Ratchathani, so it is less than 300 kilometers. But I have been told by people here that it is not possible to ride a motorcycle there. Has anyone done it? How are the roads on the Camdodian side? A re they really that bad? Is fuel a problem? What will I need to take my motorcycle across the border. It is fully paid for in my name, with green book and insurance. Any help from anyone who has ridden this area would be appreciated.

T
troehr...It might pay to have a look at the gt riders forum. They should have the info you want (googleisyourfriend)

You could go there by bus or plane and rent locally. There are places in Cambodia which rent motorcycles.

Enjoy your trip!
