But I was told that another like show has taken over that theater....... anyone know the name of the new place or contact details....

Shame you didnt know about it a couple of months ago. They had a festival called "Chiang Mai Back on Track". Good turn out. Nice show.

If I'm not mistaken Simon's closed their doors in Chiang Mai in 2008 because they were not attracting the tourist.

That's possible. Most of the troop would perform at shows at the old peak climbing wall.

Me do not understand! Are you in the show too. I believe so, but I would like to colour coordinate your and my dresses - anyhow Simon Says and Simon sometimes Answers too. Just PM me and I will let Simon advice you without answering or questioning...

Have seen those cabaret type shows at other places such as the old Bar Beer Centre, The Mae Ping hotel boxing ring (not sure what that's called) and a fairly obscure place near the back entrance to CMU on Suthep road. I think all of those are gone.

So that leaves preciously little in the way of transgender entertainment.

Had a group go last night.... they all raved about how good it was.... the sets , the performances and the way they were treated.....

I spoke with one of the owners/managers of the troupe, and they have cut back from 2 shows per night to one, because of the down times . Yes the audience was small but enthusiastic. I wish that this group did have a little more exposure [pun pun intended] so the attendance level would climb.

I would say this , if you have never seen a performance like this, it is well worth the entry fee.

The do a number of performances related to various old movies/stageplays,,,, like Gene Kelly's 'Sining/Dancin in the Rain" and the Mr. Bojangles is just super.....

Very interesting and entertaining...... I do recommend it
