Popular Post bannork
That reggae number takes me back to my days in St Pauls, Bristol in the late 70s DB. I lived opposite the notorious Black and White cafe (the most raided premises in the history of the UK). Such was my naivety in 74 I walked into the cafe on first arriving in Bristol and ordered fried eggs and chips. Looking around I noticed there were no white faces except for mine, but having lived in Nigeria for 4 years I didn't think anything of it. Time passed and I grew more and more famished. It took me a while to realize my order was never coming!

MJCM
Not at all religious but love this one. This is the original one and thus not the ones by the Doobie Brs and the Byrds (added Bonus: Thelma Houston (Don't leave me this way) is one of the singers) Edited February 4, 2017 by MJCM

MJCM
Same guy. This video clip is brilliant. Watch how People react !! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formidable_(song)#Music_video Quote On 21 May 2013 amateur videos appeared on YouTube showing Stromae, apparently drunk and wandering at the Louise/Louiza tram and metro station in Brussels during the daybreak. The images went viral. Some days later it was revealed that that was the taping of a music video. This was confirmed during the French TV show Ce soir (ou jamais !) (fr) in which Stromae discussed and also performed his new single "Formidable", which is about the story of a drunk man just separated from his girlfriend. The clip was fully composed by extracts of hidden cameras taken on 21 May. It also shows people taking pictures with their cellphones and three policemen talking to the artist. The video won Music video of the year at the Victoires de la Musique. Edited February 4, 2017 by MJCM
