Geez, can everyone just take it easy a little? It's fair to say that everyone is getting in an uproar over something trivial and petty. Just let this subject die a peaceful death and move on. Boys & girls, play nice!

Therefore I propose – if technically possible – the mods be given the power to exclude members, who abuse this privilege, for periods of time.

This is already in place, when placed in the restricted members group your priviledged acces to bedlam is removed.

Admins only can change member statusses.

Also remind you that bedlam because it's a private forum has less stricter moderation then the general forum.

Therefore i don't think that bedlam post should be used as a backstabbing tool for posters. A discussion about a newbie should be possible if the OP has genuine concerns about the validity of their account, as long as it doesn't break the forum rules in regards to slander or racism.

Which is how it started... it wasn´t supposed to be about slandering anybody, just a private place for BEDLAM members to discuss an issue of concern.

For what it is worth, Jock and Bambi (who´ll probably get another copy from someone) good on you both for apologising.

Tizme, I´ll happily still share pints with you, but no more confidentiality.
